***PLEASE NOTE*** This is a ONE DAY workshop that is being offered twice during the same weekend. Please be sure to sign up for the one you would like to attend. We will use intuitive painting to explore what happens when you throw out the rule book and allow the process to be your guide! Me? Consider me less of a teacher and more of your creative guide (in art AND in life) as we explore what it feels like to let the "next right thing" lead the way. Through grounding exercises, readings and poetry, painting demos and teaching, and loads of time to paint, I provide a safe space to push your creative edges. You will learn a variety ways to apply and push paint, practice mark making as a way to elevate your painting, and receive plenty of feedback and encouragement. The workshop is held in the classroom at Green Door Art Gallery in Webster Groves, MO. Our day will include 5 hours of painting and instruction and a 1 hour break for lunch and free painting. This workshop is designed to empower my students in their creative process. Painters of all levels have walked away with new techniques and creative empowerment. No experience required - beginners welcome! Paint, canvas, apron, and all other painting supplies included in your investment. Please BRING a water bottle, optional snacks, and a lunch if you don’t want to leave the studio to go out to eat. Feel like treating yourself? There are loads of lunch options down the block. Tuition is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Should you need to cancel, you may gift it to a friend or family member.
